Topic: Satellite Art
Bio: Peter is a scientist and artist exploring the interfaces of science and art, creativity and technology. He has been cited as an current master and explorer of the satellite art movement, leading collaborations to construct ephemeral humanscapes that are visible from space via satellites high in Earth's orbit.
He is the Director of the Center for Geospatial Information Technology (CGIT) at Virginia Tech. Sforza was born on Long Island, New York, spent early years of his life in Roanoke, Virginia, and now lives in Blacksburg, VA with his wonderful wife and two children.

Bio: Jami was born in Germany while his father served in the US military and has lived in the New River Valley since he was three attending the Christiansburg public schools. He attended Radford University where he double majored in Print Journalism and Computer Science. He was then hired by local web development company ACI where he worked for 10 years as a web developer before forming his own company Sublime Enterprises, LLC and took over ownership of NextThreeDays.com. Jami lives in Blacksburg, is married to local elementary school teacher Rebecca Ryan, and is an avid Virginia Tech Hokie fan.

Title: Inconspicuous Birds
Blurb: I am a local artist and elementary art teacher for Giles Co. Public Schools. I work in stained glass mostly and soft pastels when I get the chance. I live in Radford with my husband, two young dogs and two old cats. I've watched Green Heron develop from the bare walls to the high representative of local artists it is today. I'm very happy to be part of it's ambiance.

Bio: River Laker, born and educated in England, majored in Literary Studies, Contemporary Art, Film and Religion, before moving to the US to study Counseling Psychology. Currently living in Roanoke, VA, and employed in cultural development for Roanoke Public Libraries, Laker has previously worked as a minister, teacher and failed door-to-door salesman. He specializes in the creation, development and marketing of cultural experiences that are accessible, engaging, substantial and popular. He enjoys 6 month experiments, and is an honorary member of ELF (Earth Liberation Front).
